      2. Pair your IDmelon Mobile App with your IDmelon Pairing Tool in one of these ways:

      • “pair with a PC” on the congratulations page
      • “QR code scanner” on the Home page
      • “manage paired PCs” on setting

      3. Point your phone camera at the QR code on your computer screen.

      4. Enter a name for your smartphone in the popup window on your computer screen and press OK to connect your smartphone to the IDmelon Pairing Tool.

      5. For each login or registration, you will receive an alert that you can approve and then verify your identity with using your desired unlocking method on your smartphone.

      • Note: You have to take all the steps in the Pairing section for each mobile device.
      • Note: One and only one mobile device can be connected at a time.
    3. Disable your smartphone as a FIDO2 key

      You can disable your smartphone as a security key by clicking on the toggle button.

      • Note: Once you turn this button off, you will no longer receive any requests on your smartphone until you turn it on again.

From now on, you can use your smartphone as a FIDO2 security key to log into windows, websites, and applications from any computer without typing a password. For each request, you first receive a popup notification on your smartphone to approve your identity.

    • Note: The popup notification that you can either approve or deny shows the requester’s location, date & time and Security Key ID.
